Marks & Spencer Maison Sichel Bordeaux Rosé 2011

Bordeaux Tasting, wine #3
Marks & Spencer Maison Sichel Bordeaux Rosé 2011

Maison Sichel is a family fun company that was founded in 1883 as an acquisitions office originally, and then became a wine trading company that today encompasses two estates totally 350 hectares and a full winemaking facility. With a long term perspective based on family, Maison Sichel has adopted a holistic and sustainable approach to the entire winemaking process. Fully committed to sustainable development, they have implemented vineyard practices to combat climate change, develop biodiversity, and eventually achieve a carbon neutral footprint. This Rosé was selected by the Association of Wine Educators for Marks & Spencer as an accessible, versatile, food friendly glass.

Bright salmon pink in colour, aromas of fresh strawberries and lilies radiated from the glass. Fresh red apple flavours comprised the light, simple body, whilst clean minerals elevated the crisp finish. Dry and clean, this is an easy drinking glass fantastic for lighter meals.
