my sister with a wine tasting at the fantastic wine shop near her house,
Fairview Wines & Spirits. NYC transplants Lewis and Risa Dimm have for decades now been carefully
selecting a tantalizing scope of wines that highlight family owned vineyards,
along with sustainable, biodynamic and organic viticulture in their Hudson, NY
wine shop. From super affordable $7 Côte du Rhône gems to delectable $150 Napa
Valley Cabernets they offer a range of distinctive bottles for every budget. Their

La Forét des Dames is a family estate with old vines Sauvignon Blanc in Saint Satur in the Loire Valley. The
family are not winemakers, so they sell their entire production to négociant
Laurent Gerard.

Cesca Vicent Priorat 2010
A family
owned winery with vineyards dating back to the 1400’s, today the owner and
winemaker is Francesca Vicent. Her ancestors have been producing wine for centuries;
she practices organic viticulture and is focused on terroir and he expression of varietal character. She even has
created a detailed map of her entire estate with the 11 different types of soil
she has found.
